James died 16th February 2006 at 6.15pm from liver failure, he had been ill for 48 hours, despite a blood transfusion from Holly and the best care in the world from the Vets and Nurses at Abbey Veterinery Group, it was not to be.

He was our most beautiful dog, we loved him the first time we saw him and we will always miss him.
